Popular social media influencer Abike aka Papaya Ex has come under fire hours after sharing the news of her new luxury mansion purchase on social media.

Recall that Legit.ng reported that the influencer shared a video online showing the beautiful interiors of the house.

Papaya had also extended her appreciation to God for listening to her prayers when she was on holy pilgrimage in the land of Mecca.

Take down my brother's house from your page

Well, hours after putting up the picture and getting congratulated by many, a sibling of the real house owner minced no words in asking for the post to be deleted.

The individual identified as Ikemeamara said the house Papaya posted belongs to her brother and stressed that it is not a lookalike.

She wondered why the influencer blocked and deleted her comment.

Her post read in part:

"Papaya_ex this might look unnecessary but please take down my brothers house from your page it’s not a look alike house. Cos Wetin make you block and delete my comment? Na really Wetin pass us we wan Dey post now."

The lady also made a reference to the new trend on social media Papaya seemed to have been participating in. She urged the influencer to continue working hard until she’s able to afford her own house.

Also assuring fans and followers that she was only catching cruise, the influencer took to her Instastory channel wondering how people actually believed that she bought the mansion.

She wrote:
